Everyone aspires to have a good physique and leaves no stone unturned to get it because it is the current trend of the modern generation that a healthy body is the topmost priority.
It is quite true that the phrase health is wealth has never been more important or relevant than today’s times what with the air with breathe is mixed with pollutants, the food and water we consume contains unhealthy substances due to artificial color and flavor being added as preservatives and organic farming has taken a backseat.
This should be considered as the alarm bell as the health is slowly but surely slipping away with each passing day and it has to be controlled before it spirals completely out of control.
You see the proof with your very eyes everyday and you don’t even realize it because you must have come across many young children in the age group of 5-10 wearing huge magnified glasses as they are the unfortunate victims of rampant pollution prevalent across the world.
It is high time that the federal government comes up with necessary steps to control this epidemic and ban chemical and artificial substances in the open market and promote only natural products by making organic farming a compulsory practice.
Fitness- A Brief Description
There are numerous definitions of fitness as it entirely matters on how you look at it and what is your definition of a fit body with bulging muscles. However, that should not be considered the ultimate of what a healthy body should look like, but how it is from the inside is what counts.
There are many people who may look fit and healthy from the outside but it is not so from the inside as they undertake shortcuts to get their required results and they are not always the right choice.
Many resort to drugs and steroids for strengthening their fitness power, with most of them being banned for public use and a punishable crime. The newspapers are flooded with news of athletes undergoing dope tests before a game or race as even they are unable to resist the temptation and get banned from sports for life due to this parasitic addiction.
One more reason why people are so much into fitness is that they are attracted to it from the start and eventually decide to take it up as a career and there is a process on how you do it.
The steps are as follows:
- Make up a workout plan that you need to follow everyday to keep in shape with basics like push-ups, squats, sit-ups, jacks, crunches, etc. to name a few. Beginners should start out slow by working out only 4 days a week and gradually increase the speed and practice
- Follow a strict diet regime as a fit body is about 70% diet and 30% exercise, so do consult your gym trainer or diet instructor on what all to eat, what to not eat and in what quantity
- Always consume nutrients like fruits, vegetables, protein supplements and never avoid them when the calories reduce
