You can marinate chicken and then cook it, and then put it in a bag in the freezer with some mixed chopped vegetables. Whatever night you decide to eat it you can just take it out of the freezer, and put it in the skillet with brown rice. Bags of salad are other great alternative options as well.
- Try different recipes to put in the freezer like enchiladas on whole grain tortillas, or breakfast burritos. Whatever your favorite recipe is, you can usually freeze it.
Preparing all of your meals in advance cuts down on the time you will spend throughout the week cooking them, and if it is easier to eat healthily, you are going to be more likely to do it. Even just packing your lunch the night before is going to encourage you to eat right the next day. When you are in a rush, you are more likely to sneak in fast food, so don’t let this happen. Try preparing all of your meals for a couple of weeks and see how easy it is for you to eat healthily and lose weight.
