I know that most of you are probably wondering what I might have up my sleeve for this article and why I am even writing about people fighting over money if they are suppose to be in love. Yes, people fall in love everyday and yes, they do tend to let money stand in their way.
Money isn’t everything, but it helps. This was a famous line that I love to say and have made it a part of my signiture everytime that I hear someone talking about money. This is true in every aspect of the word money. Money, does not need to control us but we do need it to survive. The main cause for spying on the spouse is money. I have seen money destroy a lot of families and also mend a lot of broken hearts.
When a couple is financially stable and are happy with the way things are, and then one day they are facing debt and can’t seem to get out of it, this could cause a lot of stress and therefore a lot of argueing. Even though the family is not meaning to be concerned with money in this since, they are still stressed out and will often take it out on the people that are the closest to them.
Most people don’t even realize that this is the reason that they are argueing so much but when a person is stressed and does not know how to deal with it, it can become overwhelming to them and their family members. Kids even know when their family is stressed even thugh they may not know what for. It is better to try to work through this rough patch as a family rather than try to do it alone and become even more stressed or annoyed.
The best thing that you could do to make it work for you is to try to get out of debt as soon as possible. Once you are out of debt, you should start putting money back for that rainy day that you know will someday come.
I try not to let money get to me. Yes, we all need it to survive but what would happen if we were all rich? I don’t think that I could handle so much money that I couldn’t spend it all in one day. I have seen a families that had money and most of their lives are revolved around it. When did the need for other people to take care of your kids become more important than a father and mother spending quality time with the kids? I don’t think that hiring a nanny is wrong but, when it comes to the point where your nanny knows more about your family than you do, then it would be time to take a step back and see what money has done to you.
Families need to stick together through better or worse. When everything else is gone, a family is all that a person may have left and therefore money should not be your main concern.
