Bitcoin is quite expensive, and you must have a powerful system to do it efficiently. The inventor of litecoin put new rules into it known as scrypt, which was quite faster than the bitcoin and consumed comparatively less power. Litecoin is much convenient than the bitcoin as it offers excellent speed and is more cost-efficient.
Price and investment
The cost of bitcoin and litecoin is another major factor that differentiates both of these cryptocurrencies. Digital currencies have become quite popular and attracting a lot of demand, which has to lead to frequent changes in their prices. If we talk about the present times, ‘ bitcoin is considered to be more costly and involves more risk. The prices are at their bottom, and it is not the right time to invest in the bitcoins. Both of these digital currencies have failed to replace the money completely. However, there are some stores and companies that accept bitcoins in payment, but they are very few. But if we talk about accepting it, bitcoin is more accepted as it is more popular whereas litecoin is not much popular among people.
